Windsor Women Working With Immigrant Women

Windsor Women Working with Immigrant Women (WWWWIW) is a non-profit organization formed in 1982 by a group of women in the city of Windsor with the purpose of identifying and addressing the barriers faced by newcomers to Canada. Over the years, services and outreach have been expanded to better help first generation Canadian women and their families realize personal goals and reach full participation in Canadian society. The organization has conducted workshops, surveys and research projects and works with service providers, community organizations, mainstream agencies and the general public with the purpose of advocating on behalf of immigrant women and their families.
